The Farm

The two story farm house sits on 12 acres of farm land in Siler City, North Carolina. This beautiful home features a wrap-around porch that surrounds the entire first floor, hardwood floors, and a spectacular view of the pastures.

Here is a view of the barn from the front steps of the farm house. This barn was built by Alan himself over a period of 18 months. It includes an office, four stalls (one tiled for shearing/examinations/etc) and a loft. Very impressive for a barn built by one person!

Here is a closer view of the front of the barn.

Here is one of the four alpaca shelters. Each pasture contains a shelter where the alpacas can go for water, grain, and a break from the sun, wind or rain.

The covered storage area, next to the three bay garage and farm house, is used to shelter the tractor and other farm equipment.

Close-up view of Kokopelli guarding over the farm. The mysterious Kokopelli character is found in a number of Native American cultures. He is considered a symbol of fertility who brought well-being to the people, assuring success in hunting, planting and growing crops, and conception.
